An
After Death Communication (ADC) is defined as a spiritual experience which
occurs when you are contacted directly and spontaneously
by a deceased family member or friend, without the use of psychics,
mediums, rituals, or devices. Unlike the mediumship experience, there
is no "middle-man" involved here. Because you directly experience the
spiritual contact yourself, this form of contact with your loved ones on the
other side can have a tremendous healing influence. This amazing phenomenon has been documented by countless people of all races, religions, and social standing through the ages. It has been documented that 40% of a surveyed population claim to have experienced some form of after death communication. As I described in My Story, I (and others) have personally experienced a number of different types of ADCs with my son, Timothy. ADC experiences can be blatant, subtle, or anything in between these two extremes. The clarity of an ADC can also depend on not only the sender (the deceased) but also the receiver (you). If you recently lost a loved one and cannot recall any ADC experiences, it is NOT because your loved has been negligent in trying to let you know that they are OK. Most likely, your beliefs or state of mind have prevented such communications. And ADC communications can be very subtle. Furthermore, the first ADCs may occur many years after the death of your loved one. There are many types of ADCs, which can be loosely categorized as follows: ► Sentient ADCs -- sensing a presence ► Auditory ADCs -- hearing a voice ► Tactile ADCs -- feeling a touch ► Olfactory ADCs -- smelling a fragrance ► Visual ADCs -- partial and full appearance ► ADC Visions -- slightly different than visual ADCs ► Twilight ADCs -- experiences as you drift off to sleep ► Sleep State ADCs -- experiences in the dream state ► Out-of-body ADCs -- reunions with deceased love ones ► Telephone ADCs -- experiences involving electronic appliances ► Symbolic ADCs -- for example, butterflies, birds, and rainbows It's difficult to go into any great depth on a complex and emotionally charged topic like ADCs, nor do I wish to attempt to do so on this site. However, there are many excellent Books and web sites on this topic created by individuals who have dedicated their lives and careers to researching the ADC phenomenon. I have listed some of these below for your convenience:
